Local newspaper "The Bury Times" ran an article on August 21 2008 highlighting the growing problem of Drink Spiking and featured the actions of Ease Leisure venue The TWO TUBS Bury in training staff to be vigilant in identyfying suspects and providing first aid training for its staff.

A quote From Paul Entwistle read "Drink spiking is a global problem of epidemic proportions.We want our customers to feel safe and protected that is our priority".

The Two Tubs was the first bar in Bury to offer its customers free plastic stoppers which, along with a straw, can be inserted into the necks of bottles to prevent the contents being spiked with drugs.
